Job Description

**About the Role**

Tripod Partners is seeking a highly motivated and experienced healthcare professional to lead our healthcare team as the Head of Healthcare Operations. This is a unique opportunity to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services in a dynamic and challenging environment.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • **Clinical Leadership**: Provide clinical leadership and direction to the healthcare team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality evidence-based practice clinical and operational healthcare services.
  • **Team Management**: Lead and manage the healthcare team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure the team's success.
  • **Contract Delivery**: Be accountable for the delivery of the contract, monitoring performance and delivery against key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • **Stakeholder Engagement**: Work in partnership with key stakeholders, including directors, deputy directors, and other healthcare leaders, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • **Service Delivery**: Ensure the delivery of services safely and within budget, engaging and working collaboratively with patients to improve their experience and deliver high-quality care.

**Essential Criteria**

  • **Registration**: Be a registered healthcare professional with current appropriate registration, e.g., Nurse with NMC membership.
  • **Prison Experience**: Have previous experience working in a prison environment and current vetting.
  • **Senior Leadership**: Have experience at a senior level in a management operational role within a healthcare environment, working in a complex environment with multiple health professions.
  • **Legislative Knowledge**: Have knowledge of the effective application of the Health & Social Care Act 2014 and relevant legislation.
  • **Offender Health Agenda**: Have knowledge and understanding of the government's offender health agenda.
  • **Confidentiality**: Understand and apply confidentiality principles.
  • **Leadership Skills**: Possess excellent leadership skills, including experience of leading teams in complex environments.
  • **Service Management**: Have experience of effectively managing a service, working in partnership with multidisciplinary teams.
