Job Title: Procurement Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at ZipRecruiter. As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for leading the preparation, negotiation, and implementation of subcontracts across the entire life cycle of missiles and missile systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and execution of subcontracts with existing partners or through tendering activities
  • Overseeing subcontract amendments to ensure they remain topical and compliant with latest contracting standards and legislation
  • Undertaking performance management activities to ensure suppliers deliver in line with subcontract obligations
  • Developing and nurturing strong supplier relationships with suppliers within the UK, Europe, and the rest of the world
  • Identifying and mitigating commercial and business risks relating to suppliers
  • Obtaining quotations and critical intelligence from suppliers to enable MBDA to bid for new business

Requirements:

  • Experience in procurement subcontract management, negotiation, contract, and terms and conditions
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to find resolutions
  • Continuous support and cooperation to senior internal and external customers
  • Improving opportunities, analyzing situations, and presenting possibilities while balancing risk

Security Clearance: Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to gain UK government security clearance.
