Procurement Manager Job Description

As a Procurement Manager at Mane Contract Services, you will play a crucial role in partnering with our suppliers worldwide to deliver world-leading defence capabilities for our Home Nations and their Allies.

You will lead the preparation, negotiation, implementation, and performance of subcontracts across the entire life cycle of missiles and missile systems, ensuring effective management to time, cost, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide commercial guidance to internal customers and manage risk and opportunity to safeguard interests.
  • Undertake performance management activities to ensure suppliers deliver in line with subcontract obligations.
  • Identify and mitigate commercial and business risks relating to suppliers.
  • Obtain quotations and critical intelligence from suppliers to enable MBDA to bid for new business.

Requirements:

  • Experience in procurement subcontract management, negotiation, contract, and terms and conditions.
  • Ability to continually improve opportunities, analyze situations, and present possibilities while balancing risk.
