About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team as a National Trustee. As a key member of our governance structure, you will play a vital role in ensuring the financial stability and integrity of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic guidance and oversight on financial governance decisions, ensuring alignment with our organization's objectives and policies.
  • Collaborate with our National Board and senior leadership team to develop and implement effective financial strategies.
  • Ensure the proper management and administration of our joint fund, adhering to relevant regulations and trust deeds.
  • Attend bi-monthly meetings with our CEO to receive updates on critical decisions and risks, and provide input on key financial matters.
  • Participate in the Finance Committee and National Reserve Fund Committee, as specified in the terms of reference.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in finance, with a leadership or executive level background.
  • Proven ability to work in complex stakeholder environments and navigate governance procedures.
  • Previous experience as a Non-Executive Director for a non-profit or public sector organization is highly desirable.
