Job Description

Purpose of the Role:

This 2-year fixed-term opportunity will see you rotating through various areas of the Engineering team, exposing you to disciplines such as Aerodynamics, Design, Racing, and Performance. You'll gain insight into the functions of an F1 team, with a focus on the Technical and Race Team elements.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Graduate Engineer, you'll be responsible for delivering performance projects across multiple functions, including Design, Aerodynamics, Vehicle Performance, Race Engineering, and Strategy. You'll work closely with all areas of the business and levels of management, developing your skills and expertise.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or the Sciences with a minimum of a 2:1 (or equivalent).
  • General computing skills and software knowledge appropriate to the placement area.
  • Practical mindedness and a passion for motorsport.
  • Previous experience in motorsport is desirable, but not required.

Location:

McLaren Racing is based at the iconic McLaren Technology Centre (MTC) near Woking, with direct access to park and common land. The MTC is connected to Woking mainline station via regular shuttle buses, from which London Waterloo is a 30-minute train ride.
