Job Title: Lifeguard - Ultimate Holiday Camps

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Lifeguard to join our team at Ultimate Holiday Camps. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of children at our camp, particularly during swimming activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the pool area while Instructors conduct swimming sessions for kids aged 4 to 14.
  • Plan and conduct activities for children aged 4-14, emphasizing participation, growth, and enjoyment, collaborating with other staff members as needed.
  • Act as a group leader, welcoming new children and communicating with the Camp Manager and parents when necessary.
  • Supervise and interact with children outside of scheduled activities.
  • Prioritize the welfare of the children in your care at all times.
Requirements:
  • Certified lifeguard (NARS or NPLQ) meeting the minimum depth requirement at the camp. Depth tests can be arranged if needed.
  • Passionate, energetic, and enthusiastic about working with children through play and activities.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills. Must be comfortable leading children and taking on responsibilities.
  • Flexible team player who can adapt to different situations and challenges at the camp.
