Grocery Warehouse Associate

Salary: Competitive hourly rate (£27,572 annually) plus exceptional company benefits

Shift Schedule: Sunday to Thursday, from 09:00 am to 06:00 pm, with flexibility during peak periods

40 Hours per week

Location: Bicester, Oxfordshire

We are seeking dedicated Grocery Warehouse Associates to become part of our team on a full-time, permanent basis. Brakes is a leading supplier in the food service industry, located in Bicester, Oxfordshire. Join us in the preparation, packaging, and inspection of a variety of chilled and frozen food products ready for distribution to caterers across the nation.

As a Grocery Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for handling and preparing various food items, primarily seafood, and will spend the majority of your day on your feet. The working environment is temperature-controlled, ensuring comfort while you work. We provide uniforms to keep you warm. We are eager to find individuals who are interested in developing new skills, with an excellent opportunity for successful associates to receive training in fish mongering from industry experts.

To be part of our team, you should be comfortable using computers and maintaining accurate stock records for auditing purposes, demonstrating a keen attention to detail. While previous experience in food production or kitchen settings and basic food safety knowledge is beneficial, your willingness to learn and collaborate with the team is paramount.
