About the Role
Ocado Group is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Warehouse Operative. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, from receiving and storing goods to picking and packing customer orders.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and store goods from suppliers, ensuring accurate and efficient processing
- Pick and pack customer orders with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Load individual totes into frames and load them into delivery vans
- Sort and organize totes when they return to site, dealing with any returns and helping with the in-house tote wash machine
- Work in both ambient and chill (0 to 5) sections of the warehouse, handling both meat and alcohol products
Requirements
- Good level of fitness and ability to work in multiple temperatures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good eye for detail and ability to work accurately
- Ability to lift up to 25kg weights and carry out repetitive tasks
