Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at H International Consultant / HIa Legal. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our finance function, including financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to drive business growth and profitability.
    • Prepare and present financial reports to the Finance Director and Chief Operating Officer, including monthly management accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable, including fixed asset registers, bank reconciliations, and credit card transactions.
    • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including the preparation of year-end audit packs and coordination with external auditors.
  • Commercial Accounting
    • Support the Finance Director in preparing the annual budget, including detailed schedules and variance analysis.
    • Contribute to the implementation of a new Purchase Order system and assist with intercompany and foreign exchange transactions.
  • Team Management
    • Mentor and develop the skills of the Accounts Payable team and Management Accountants.
    • Ensure all internal and external deadlines are met by the team.
Requirements
  • ACCA/CIMA or ACA fully qualified.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the retail or wholesale sector.
  • Intermediate level of Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
