Requirements: You must be able to drive with a Full UK Driving Licence and have access to a reliable car. You will be required to have business insurance.

This exciting role involves working within Empower's highly regarded community Outreach Team, covering Somerset, Devon, and Bristol. You will be supporting children, families, and carers within the community and in times of crisis, supporting daily routines, providing mentor support, and helping young people and families to work through challenges.

By joining our bank team, you can also choose to work and cover shifts in our services and support our Foster Carers, allowing you to experience a variety of different support roles.

You could be helping a baby or family in hospital, conducting supervised contact, or supporting a young person build their confidence.

We need resilient and passionate individuals who are adaptable and team players. To do this role, you need to be kind and compassionate, but also not afraid of a challenge.

To make sure our children, young people, and families are well cared for and supported, it is essential that you have worked with or have some experience of caring for children and young people. However, we don't expect you to know everything, and our team are friendly and supportive, and will be with you every step of the way.

This role is subject to the successful application having an enhanced DBS check for child and adult workforce with barred list checks. The successful candidate will be required to pay upfront for their enhanced DBS check, which will be refunded once you have completed 100 hours of work.
