Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Support Specialist to enhance our Adult Social Care Support Services Team. This role is essential in providing comprehensive administrative assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update information on internal systems.
  • Draft and distribute correspondence.
  • Manage procurement processes, including ordering equipment and processing invoices.
  • Respond to telephone inquiries and provide face-to-face support.
  • Perform document management tasks such as printing, photocopying, and scanning.
  • Record action points during meetings and utilize software tools such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Handle sensitive information in accordance with Information Governance policies.

Team Collaboration: The Support Services team plays a vital role in assisting operational managers and their teams within Adult Social Care. Therefore, it is crucial to work collaboratively, demonstrate initiative, and build positive relationships through effective communication.

Skills and Qualifications: Candidates should possess strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines consistently.
