Reports to: Senior Designer - Beauty

Scope of Job: Beauty Popups

Purpose:

To drive newness and creativity across beauty and fragrance campaign launches. To adapt creative direction into various scales of implementation and work closely with internal and external teams to deliver a successful creative and commercial balance.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead designs for temporary immersive retail environments from concept creation to concept drawing package, specializing in beauty and fragrance sectors.
  • Propose exciting additional customer journey elements as part of the 'retailtainment' strategy.
  • Research and develop innovative materials and processes for temporary activations, aligning with sustainability targets.
  • Develop creative direction into multiple scales of implementation, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Develop guideline packages for partners to implement design direction into various sites globally.
  • Collaborate closely with Senior Designer, internal creative and commercial teams, and external partners to ensure a collaborative, cross-functional delivery that succeeds with the alignment of brand vision.
  • Oversee visual merchandising strategy and coordinate pop-up activations and events.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to continuously improve design strategies.

Measures of Success:

  • Creation of beautiful pop-ups that align with campaign creative and commercial needs.
  • Build strong partnerships with cross-functional teams.
  • Smooth collaboration with internal and external teams, with design packages delivered on time and to a high standard.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in concept and pop design, as well as beauty and fragrance.
  • Confident creative point of view.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Knowledge of current market trends and competitor approaches.
  • Well-organized, flexible, and adaptable.
  • Proficiency in design software and tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Blender, or Vectorworks.
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field (Master's degree a plus).
