Job Description

Linux Engineer – Hybrid Role

Maxwell Bond is seeking an experienced Linux Engineer to join their growing IT Department. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and forward-thinking tech business that is at the forefront of technological innovation.

As a Linux Engineer, you will be responsible for engineering and maintaining core applications and services that deliver business value. You will also support, maintain, and enhance technical systems and infrastructure for both customer-facing services and corporate services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Expert experience in Linux server administration
  • Familiarity with migration projects and the challenges they present
  • Adaptable scripting experience – ideally Python and/or PowerShell
  • VMware/Hyper-V
  • Networking desirable – TCP/IP, VPN, VLANS
  • Knowledge of ITIL
