About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux and Windows Systems Administrator to join our Project and Programme Delivery department at bet365. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and providing technical support for our systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain systems, including operating systems and applications, to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Provide technical support to the team and wider business, resolving issues and implementing solutions.
  • Design and develop Jira project configurations to meet the changing needs of our business processes.
  • Support regular maintenance duties, including operating system and application patching, to ensure our systems are up-to-date and secure.
  • Develop and deliver real-time reporting using PowerBI and SQL Server Reporting Services, to management and end-users.
  • Produce repeatable and ad-hoc management information, including key performance indicators, to support our delivery portfolios and lifecycles.
  • Support the Senior Project Systems Administrator in implementing process improvements, designing platform upgrades, and functional testing.

Requirements

  • Experience in Jira System Administration, including Cloud and Data Centre.
  • Knowledge of Confluence and SharePoint administration, and skilled in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Exposure to system administration, maintenance experience, and release planning.
  • Up-to-date RedHat and Ubuntu Linux administration experience.
  • Experience in SQL Server Reporting Services report development.
  • Knowledge of PowerBI report development and sourcing data from various data sources.
  • Ability to function as a member of a team, with minimal supervision.
  • Working knowledge of web technology and development environments, including Visual Studio, SharePoint Designer, SQL Server 2019, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, and HTML.
