About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Linux and Windows Systems Administrator to join our Project and Programme Delivery department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and providing technical support for our Jira and Confluence applications.
Main Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain Jira and Confluence applications to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Design and develop Jira project configurations to meet the changing needs of our business processes.
- Support regular maintenance duties, including operating system and application patching, to ensure our departmental environments are up-to-date.
- Develop and deliver real-time reporting using PowerBI and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) to management and end-users.
- Produce repeatable and ad-hoc management information associated with delivery portfolios and lifecycles.
- Support the Senior Project Systems Administrator in implementing process improvements and designing platform upgrades.
Requirements
- Experience in Jira System Administration, including Cloud and Data Centre.
- Knowledge of Confluence and SharePoint administration and skilled in Microsoft Office.
- Exposure to system administration, maintenance experience, and release planning.
- Up-to-date RedHat and Ubuntu Linux administration experience.
- Experience in SQL Server Reporting Services report development.
- Knowledge of PowerBI report development and sourcing data from various data sources.
- Ability to function as a member of a team and operate with minimal supervision.
- Working knowledge of web technology and development environments.
