About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Property Surveyor to join our team at Project People. As a key member of our Property and Legal Department, you will be responsible for managing the estate and implementing property and planning strategies across our shared and unilateral network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert and provide guidance on property-related matters, including new code agreement renewals, shared or unilateral shareholder programs, exit management, and rent reviews.
  • Develop and implement MBNL's Property Business Processes through training workshops.
  • Provide support to shareholders, suppliers, and contractors in the implementation of ECC reform, particularly in the context of renewals.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement to enhance delivery and support the organization's business objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in Acquisition, Legal Deployment, and Transmission functions.
  • Provide support to suppliers in site-specific issues and offer pragmatic advice to third parties to ensure cost-effective site acquisition.
  • Maximize cost savings and prevention through the effective use of the ECC.
Requirements
  • Strong property knowledge and experience in business process and transformational change.
  • Demonstrable experience in an Operator, Managed Service Supplier, or Small Works Contractor environment or for a Chartered Surveyor in a commercial property, professional services, or valuation capacity.
  • Nice to Have:
    • Property-related qualifications, such as RICS or CAAV membership, or comparable experience.
    • Knowledge of the Code (Digital Economy Act).
    • Experience of compulsory purchase.
