Job Title: Regional Property Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Property Surveyor to join our team at Project People. As a key member of our Property and Legal Department, you will play a crucial role in managing our estate and implementing property and planning strategies across our network.

About the Role:

The Regional Property Surveyor will be responsible for managing the day-to-day estate management in their allocated sites, providing expert advice on property-related matters, and introducing innovation into our processes to enhance delivery and meet our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert and provide guidance on property-related matters, including new code agreement renewals, shared or unilateral shareholder programs, exit management, and rent reviews.
  • Introduce and implement MBNL's Property Business Processes through training workshops.
  • Provide support to shareholders, suppliers, and contractors in the implementation of ECC reform, especially in the context of renewals.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement to enhance delivery and meet business objectives.
  • Support internal and external stakeholders in Acquisition, Legal Deployment, and Transmission functions.
  • Provide pragmatic advice to third parties to ensure the cost-effective implementation of site acquisition.
  • Maximize cost savings and cost prevention through the effective use of the ECC.
Requirements:
  • Property knowledge and experience in business process and transformational change.
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role, preferably in an Operator, Managed Service Supplier, or Small Works Contractor environment.
  • Knowledge of Code (Digital Economy Act) and experience of compulsory purchase.
