Role Overview:
As an Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and nurturing relationships with both new and existing clients. This position offers a unique opportunity to establish significant customer connections and develop a rewarding career in a vibrant industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders across various departments.
2. Work closely with the Procurement team to uncover market opportunities.
3. Lead new product development initiatives and manage product modifications.
4. Proactively oversee customer inventory levels to ensure optimal stock management.
5. Create engaging customer presentations utilizing market insights.
6. Manage sales performance and contract balance reporting.
Candidate Profile:
- A minimum of a 2.1 degree in a relevant business discipline.
- Ideally, at least 2 years of experience in sales within the commercial retail landscape.
- Preference for candidates with a background in the food sector (other FMCG experiences will also be considered).
- Demonstrated success in acquiring new business and managing client accounts.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- A confident, dynamic individual with a competitive spirit and a proactive mindset.
