Talent84 LTD is proud to be representing our client, a specialist engineering business, in their search for a Supply Chain Coordinator based in the North East region.
About the RoleThe Supply Chain Coordinator will report to the Commercial Manager and be responsible for the administration and coordination of spares & parts ordering, as well as playing an active role in tendering.
Main Responsibilities- Establishing lines of communication with customers or commercial advisors to clarify requirements.
- Calculating estimated works cost based on price lists, estimates, or previous cost performance.
- Applying established rules for pricing associated with spares tenders.
- Liaising with Sales Team colleagues to determine the price to be quoted when established rules cannot be applied.
- Seeking approval to quote when the quotation value exceeds the limits of authority.
- Creating sales quotations within the ERP system.
- Maintaining the integrity of information within the ERP system.
- Reviewing terms & conditions of contract with the assistance of other members of the Bid & Sales Teams as required.
- Converting sales quotations to customer orders within the ERP system, performing contract reviews, and allocating contract requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
