About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated CAMHS Mental Health Practitioner to join our Community CAMHS Service in Oldham. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in assessing and formulating treatment plans for young people, working closely with their families and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments of young people, including risk assessments and formulation of treatment plans
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals, including nurses, psychologists, social workers, and psychiatrists, to ensure a cohesive and effective service
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with young people, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in CAMHS to ensure the delivery of evidence-based care
Requirements
  • NMC nursing, social work, OT, or equivalent health/social care qualification and active registration with relevant regulatory body
  • Significant post-qualification experience in community mental health services to postgraduate diploma level
  • Professional involvement with users of mental health services, experience of case management of young people, and experience of multi-agency working
