About You

In the role of Continuous Improvement Specialist, you will play a crucial part in supporting our teams in achieving optimal site performance and productivity. This will be accomplished through the strategic management and execution of our continuous improvement initiatives, guided by the Suntory Monozukuri Way (SMW).

WHAT YOU BRING

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Promoting a proactive and safe workplace by implementing behavioral safety measures and evaluating the work environment through SMW methodologies.
  • Providing coaching and mentorship to site teams on the application of SMW and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) tools.
  • Enhancing the teams' capabilities to independently utilize these tools through targeted training and development activities, embodying the Suntory ethos of Crafting People.
  • Collaborating with various business units across Europe to expedite the adoption of the Suntory Monozukuri Way by encouraging the standardization of best practices.
  • Playing a key role in the site's Improvement Pillars.
  • Utilizing data collection methods to ensure the deployment of appropriate improvement teams and tools tailored to specific losses.
  • Supporting autonomous maintenance initiatives within the manufacturing process through the AM framework.

Skills and Experience

Required Technical Skills

  • Ability to operate with minimal oversight to ensure the effective execution of improvement initiatives.
  • Proven experience in applying TPM principles, with a solid background in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Expertise in methodologies such as Autonomous Maintenance (AM), Planned Maintenance (PM), 5S, and Kaizen.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with process control systems.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Exceptional coaching and training capabilities.
