As a solution-oriented individual, you excel at formulating effective strategies to address quality-related issues, including the implementation of corrective and preventive measures. Your technical expertise is complemented by strong communication abilities, allowing you to articulate quality standards and facilitate the resolution of quality concerns.
About the Role
In the capacity of a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the quality and safety protocols at our facility.
• Develop and oversee validation strategies and protocols for new machinery, processes, products, and packaging
• Gather documented proof post-validation to demonstrate successful outcomes through verification and monitoring activities
• Analyze consumer-reported issues, identify potential trends in failure analysis related to product liquid, packaging, and manufacturing, and initiate recommended enhancements and action plans
• Lead investigations, root cause analyses, corrective action reports, and preventive measures to address complaints from consumers, customers, suppliers, and incidents
• Initiate material investigations to comprehend the root causes of issues
• Review and analyze key performance indicator (KPI) data, providing insights on trends as needed
• Identify opportunities to avert quality issues, ensuring that final products consistently meet consumer expectations
• Drive quality and safety performance and culture within manufacturing by utilizing continuous improvement tools and data analysis to identify and implement ongoing enhancement projects
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, including Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
• Utilize platforms such as SAP QM when necessary
• Challenge operational and technical processes to enhance the efficiency of current methods
• Be well-versed in and execute the requirements of relevant manufacturing standards
• Contribute continuous improvement suggestions and participate in review meetings, including those focused on food safety and quality
• Assist in traceability exercises and conduct effective after-action reviews to promote ongoing process improvement
• Support the achievement of all site and departmental annual objectives, including participation in relevant activities
• Collaborate and communicate effectively across the organization to develop and implement quality controls and enhancements
• Promptly escalate issues or non-conformances that may jeopardize product safety and quality
• Provide input into the development of user requirement specifications for quality-related IT projects
