Job Title: Management Accountant

Location: Our Head Office in Freshwater

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Full time (37.5 hours a week), but we consider part-time options

We're looking for a skilled Management Accountant to join our team and help drive our business forward. As a key member of our finance team, you'll be responsible for managing our financial processes, providing strategic financial insights, and supporting our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with month-end tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

• Undertake ad-hoc projects to support business needs

• Provide detailed costings for products and projects

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations

• Conduct cost analysis and control, identifying areas for cost reduction

• Assist the Financial Controller with the annual audit

• Support and advise the buying team with the purchase order system

• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency

• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for decision-making

Requirements:

• AAT qualification or a recognized accountancy qualification

• Proven experience in management accounting, preferably in a similar industry

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations

• Proficient in accounting software, Xero knowledge is desirable

• Experience with Excel and Google Workspace is desirable

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
