Join the dynamic team at MBM Travel Executives Ltd as a Specialist Product Manager, where you will oversee and drive the expansion of our Specialist Products. You will be responsible for defining their strategic vision with the guidance of the Heads of Product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Oversight: Take charge of the strategy for Specialist products, collaborating closely with the Heads of Product.
- Product Advocacy: Promote the Solo, Active, and emerging products throughout the organization to enhance visibility and optimize sales.
- Performance Accountability: Maintain oversight of P&L and NPS metrics for Specialist products.
- Product Enhancement: Continuously assess, enhance, and refine tour itineraries. Identify opportunities for improvement and new product development.
- Market Insights: Work in partnership with the Insight team to gather consumer insights that drive product growth.
- Negotiation & Contract Management: Negotiate and finalize land product agreements for Specialist offerings with relevant stakeholders.
- Cost Management: Compile, oversee, and update all tour costings to meet target margins. Ensure compensation is reclaimed from suppliers when necessary.
- Supplier & Product Coordination: Manage supplier agreements and contracts. Follow up on tour details post-visit to ensure accurate costing and comprehensive notes for Marketing.
- Competitive Analysis: Keep track of competitor activities and their effects on our tours.
- Customer Service Management: Address Customer Service inquiries promptly. Ensure hotel and agent contracts are updated and returned signed within agreed timelines.
- Product Training Delivery: Provide clear and professional training on products as required.
- Marketing Accuracy: Review brochure and website content for precision and suggest enhancements.
- Proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably in the European travel or solo tours sector.
- Strong relationship-building capabilities with key suppliers.
- Strategic and commercial mindset complemented by robust negotiation skills.
- Creative and proactive in problem-solving.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Well-developed organizational abilities.
- Proactive and able to take initiative.
- Knowledge of an additional European language is desirable but not essential.
- Manage a select range of European tours as necessary.
- Conduct overseas visits to develop new tour concepts and confirm supplier agreements.
