Treasury Team Leader - Back Office

As a key member of the EMEA Shared Service Centre (SSC), you will report to the Head of Treasury with the purpose of ensuring that the team provides high-quality customer-focused treasury services. This is a critical role that requires proven strong leadership skills with the ability to manage the delivery of treasury services in a collaborative and mutually beneficial manner.

About the Role

As a Treasury Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing and developing the IHC/Back office Team, overseeing the in-house cash centre, and striving for growth. You will also manage IHC exposures to mitigate FX risk and minimize FX gains/losses, manage the loan portfolio, and ensure adherence to controls. Additionally, you will be responsible for cash flow and FX forecasting, FEBA and bank account management, and audit and SOARs compliance.

About the Team/Department

The Treasury function consists of 2 teams covering the Front and Back office to allow for segregation of duties (SOD). As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of professionals and contribute to the success of the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop the IHC/Back office Team
  • Oversee the in-house cash centre and strive for growth
  • Manage IHC exposures to mitigate FX risk and minimize FX gains/losses
  • Manage the loan portfolio
  • Ensure adherence to controls
  • Cash flow and FX forecasting
  • FEBA and bank account management
  • Audit and SOARs compliance
Requirements
  • Proven Team Leadership experience
  • Well-rounded knowledge of both Treasury & Banking - ideally from a corporate Treasury background
  • Experience of driving a culture of trust within your team and developing team members' skills and capabilities through ongoing developmental coaching & feedback
