Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technologist to join our team. As a Technologist, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining our technical capabilities, ensuring seamless working with customers and internal teams, and preparing accurate and timely reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop good working relationships with customer technologists
  • Assist with key technical and development matters internally and externally
  • Ensure seamless working with customer and MM Flowers account team, including full alignment with commercial and NPD goals
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports when requested, and assist with preparing data and insight for MM Flowers and 3rd party customers

Requirements

  • Experience of the horticultural/retail industry is beneficial
  • Understanding of breeding, growing, and post-harvest of fresh produce
  • Basic knowledge of plant biological and physiological processes
  • Good organisational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Confident communication of key findings and opportunities to a diverse audience base
