Exciting Opportunity for a PR Manager
We are seeking a dedicated PR Manager who is enthusiastic about plant-based living, animal rights, health, and environmental sustainability.
The ideal candidate will excel in obtaining both national and local media exposure for our mission-driven organization.
This position involves strategizing resources, campaigns, and initiatives through various external communication platforms, as well as crafting compelling content, including press releases, articles, and in-depth narratives. Additionally, you will play a key role in organizing and conducting podcast interviews and monthly news segments, as well as making appearances on television and radio to discuss a wide array of topics related to veganism, animal welfare, health, and environmental issues.
A genuine passion for animal rights and a commitment to a plant-based lifestyle is essential, as you will serve as an advocate to raise awareness in these areas.
Applicants should possess a solid background in public relations and communications, whether from an agency or in-house setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance the organization’s visibility with media outlets, influencers, celebrities, and corporate partners.
- Proactively identify opportunities to elevate the company’s profile, leveraging key personnel, public figures, and stakeholders.
- Lead and cultivate strategic partnerships and collaborations to boost promotion and support.
- Develop and maintain media relationships.
- Compose press releases for various initiatives and campaigns.
- Monitor media channels, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, and social media platforms.
- Oversee paid media efforts, collaborate with advertising agencies, and identify advertising opportunities.
This is a full-time position, with a flexible work arrangement allowing for a combination of remote and in-office work.
