About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Public Relations Manager to join our team at Harris Hill Charity Recruitment Specialists. As a leading charity recruitment agency, we are committed to finding the best talent for our clients, and we are looking for someone who shares our values and passion for making a difference.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective PR and communications strategies to raise awareness of our clients' charitable work and promote their brand.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts, securing national and local media coverage through press releases, articles, and long-form content.
  • Conduct podcast interviews and speak on various subjects on TV and radio, showcasing our clients' expertise and thought leadership.
  • Produce high-quality, engaging content that resonates with our target audience and supports our clients' goals.

Requirements:

  • Passionate about veganism, animals, health, and the environment, with a strong understanding of the charity sector.
  • Previous experience in media relations, PR, or a related field, or a journalist background with a strong understanding of the media landscape.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with media contacts, colleagues, and clients.
  • Strong writing and content creation skills, with the ability to produce high-quality content that engages and resonates with our target audience.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £28,000 - £33,000 per annum.
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including 4 weeks' holiday, 5 days Christmas closure, and bank holidays.
  • A full-time, permanent role with a 35-hour working week.
