About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Public Relations Manager to join our busy and high-performing communications team at Harris Hill Charity Recruitment Specialists.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for securing national and local media coverage, producing innovative copy, and conducting podcast interviews and speaking on various subjects on TV and radio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective PR strategies to raise awareness and promote our charity's mission
  • Produce high-quality press releases, articles, and long-form content to engage our target audience
  • Build and maintain relationships with media contacts and influencers to secure media coverage
  • Conduct podcast interviews and speak on various subjects on TV and radio to promote our charity's work

Requirements:

  • Passionate about veganism, animals, health, and the environment
  • Previous media relations or PR experience, or a journalist background is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

What We Offer:

  • Salary £28,000 - £33,000
  • 4 weeks' holiday, 5 days Christmas closure, and bank holidays
  • Full-time, permanent role (35 hour week)
  • Location: Based in Bristol, with some home working possible
