Job Overview

We are seeking a Heritage Conservation Specialist to contribute to the work of our team while developing experience in the challenges of conserving and enhancing our district's designated and non-designated heritage assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with our Conservation Officers and Team Leader in all areas of heritage conservation
  • Gain experience in commenting on development proposals and assist in the production of policy guidance documents such as Conservation Area Character Statements
  • Contribute to the development of our heritage conservation policies and strategies

What We Offer

We offer a permanent and full-time position, 37 hours per week, working Monday to Friday with the occasional evening meeting in accordance with the needs of the service. We also offer flexible working arrangements, generous annual leave, and a range of employee benefits.
