Senior Medical Science Manager

Join Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical as a Senior Medical Science Manager and make a meaningful impact in the lives of those who need it most. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing professional relationships with medical thought leaders and key organizations in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage and manage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to establish and maintain scientific relationships
  • Uncover KOL insights on existing or emerging science with the potential to impact patient care
  • Act as primary liaison to healthcare professionals interested in developing projects with Ultragenyx
  • Support local teams in executing medical affairs plans
  • Contribute to the elaboration of local medical affairs plans
  • Perform activities to increase awareness of rare diseases of interest
  • Provide medical information in response to unsolicited questions
  • Collaborate with Clinical Operations to support clinical development programs
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and SOPs
Requirements:
  • Advanced degree in a clinical or medical specialty
  • 3-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry in medical affairs
  • Good understanding of the healthcare delivery system and patient pathway in the UK
  • Fluent in English
