The Role:

We are seeking an ambitious and forward-thinking Senior Medical Writer to join Virtual Science AI's QA/QC team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in overseeing the delivery of high-quality, medical-grade insights to our clients in the pharmaceutical industry.

As Virtual Science AI's Senior Medical Writer, you will engage directly with clients to identify trends and challenges, guide strategic discussions, and collaborate closely with internal technical teams to ensure impactful outcomes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Development with Clients:
    • Leverage your deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry to identify key trends and challenges.
    • Engage in strategic discussions with clients to help shape their direction and navigate market complexities.
    • Serve as a bridge between the pharmaceutical industry and our technical teams, including data scientists and AI practitioners, to uncover insights and deliver impactful reports.
  • Project Management:
    • Oversee the management of multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with client expectations.
    • Prioritize projects effectively, balancing client needs with internal resources.
    • Ensure projects are executed to the highest standards, with clear communication and collaboration across teams.
  • Review and Approve Reports:
    • Meticulously review insight reports, ensuring adherence to our rigorous quality and accuracy standards.
    • Ensure all reports follow standard operating procedures and best practices.
    • Provide feedback and guidance to continuously enhance the quality of our deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong understanding of its challenges and trends.
  • Demonstrated success in a strategic role, with the ability to engage and influence senior-level clients.
  • Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, particularly in reviewing and approving reports.
  • Experience working with data scientists and AI practitioners is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience in medical writing within the life sciences industry.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
