A Senior Fire Safety Engineer is a seasoned professional who delivers specialized fire safety insights for a variety of projects throughout the construction lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Major Projects: The Senior Fire Safety Engineer will take charge of significant projects at all phases, including construction, overseeing the project's daily operations from both technical and managerial viewpoints.
  2. Implement Fire Safety Services: Conduct site inspections during construction to ensure the fire safety strategy is being effectively executed.
  3. Project Management: Oversee small to medium-sized projects from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality delivery, adherence to timelines, budget compliance, and achievement of client objectives.
  4. Relationship Building: Utilize strong communication skills to establish new connections and maintain existing relationships by providing exceptional client service.
  5. Technical Development: Contribute to the technical proficiency within the region and assist in the professional growth of team members.
  6. Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior engineers within the team, aiding them in their project work.
  7. Consultancy Services: Offer clear and timely technical advice to clients, facilitating informed decision-making.

Qualifications:

  1. Accredited BEng Hons, MEng, or MSc in Engineering
  2. Associate Member of the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE)
  3. Progressing towards Chartered status with a recognized body such as the Engineering Council (EC), RICS, or CABE
  4. Strong technical knowledge of the fire engineer's role within the design team and the scope of services across various phases of building design, construction, and occupancy.
  5. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
