Job Summary
We are seeking an Assistant Branch Manager who will act as first line support to the Branch Manager, leading and supporting the team to deliver success. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and commercial awareness, previous leadership experience, and a passion for customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service and Sales
- Develop great relationships with new and existing customers to understand their needs and provide proactive advice and solutions.
- Use in-house systems to process customer orders, organize delivery times, and keep customers updated throughout their journey.
- Team Leadership
- Act as first line support to the Branch Manager to lead and support the team to deliver success.
- Maintain stock levels, carrying out regular stock counts.
- Lead your team to make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work.
- Market Knowledge and Growth
- Get to know the local market to support plans for sales growth.
Requirements
- Leadership Experience
- Previous leadership experience is essential for this role.
- Customer Service Skills
- A passion for customer service and a strong ability to build, develop, and maintain relationships.
