The Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our established team at Integral UK Ltd. The successful candidate will be a well-rounded engineer with a strong background in mechanical maintenance, building services, and fabric work.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- As a mechanically biased skilled engineer, you will possess a sound knowledge of booster pumps, building services (water, gas, and electrical systems), and fabric work.
- You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our static sites, including routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
- With your expertise in building controls, you will be able to design, install, and commission new systems, as well as upgrade existing ones.
- You will work closely with our team to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring optimal efficiency and productivity.
- Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory management, and quality control.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer in a similar role, preferably in the static sites industry.
- Strong knowledge of building services, including water, gas, and electrical systems.
- Ability to design, install, and commission new building control systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
