The Residential Children's Home supports children and young people aged 8-18 with Challenging and Emotional Behavioural difficulties that require intervention and support.
As a Support Worker, you will be supporting children/young people with EBD (emotional and behavioural disorders) on a 1 to 1 and group basis, taking an approach to ensure their needs are met. You will build strong relationships with the young people, promoting a safe, trusting, and professional environment for them to develop.
Additional duties may include general household duties, behavioural/emotional support, and going out on activities. The Children's Home offers a positive therapeutic working environment with knowledgeable senior management and support in all areas of your development.
Our client values their staff and young people, ensuring they feel at ease and supported throughout. They offer a wide range of training, guidance from a highly experienced Senior Team, and bespoke internal Therapeutic training.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving license
- At least 6 months of experience within a Children's/Young people environment
- Residential Child Care or equivalent Lvl 3 (desirable)
