About the Role

The Portfolio Group is seeking a highly skilled HR Advisor to join our team. As an HR Advisor, you will play a critical role in providing expert HR and employment law advice to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality HR and employment law advice to clients via phone and email.
  • Support clients with HR issues and queries, including absence management, grievances, and disciplinaries.
  • Develop and provide clients with supporting information and documentation to assist them in implementing advice and solutions.
  • Utilize expert HR and employment law knowledge to develop clear and concise answers for clients.
  • Review client documentation and provide advice, taking into account applicable internal terms and conditions.
  • Ensure all requests for advice are dealt with within relevant service level agreements.
Requirements
  • Good employment law knowledge, either through studies or working experience.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent experience in the workplace is desirable.
  • Previous experience in a KPI/target-driven environment, ideally in a shared service centre, is highly desirable.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks, prioritizing workload accordingly.
  • Organized self-starter with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving performance-driven environment.
