About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Clinical Lead to join our team at HMP Stocken, a category C prison located in East Midlands. As a key member of our Mental Health team, you will provide clinical leadership and management to our registered nurses and care teams.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mental health nursing and experience in a hospital, community, or prison environment. You will be responsible for deputizing on behalf of the Deputy/Head of Healthcare when required and working closely with partners to maintain a robust, high-quality clinical service for patients.

We offer a competitive salary up to £53,077.00 per annum FTE, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including free parking, a staff gym, and a staff canteen. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and management to registered nurses and care teams
  • Deputize on behalf of the Deputy/Head of Healthcare when required
  • Work closely with partners to maintain a robust, high-quality clinical service for patients
  • Ensure own clinical practice is consistent with autonomous practice within the role
  • Model a culture of compassion, care, courage, commitment, communication, and competence
