About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Catering Manager to join our client's team at a leading independent boarding school in East Hertfordshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the catering operations, ensuring high-quality service and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily catering operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Supervise a team of catering staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Monitor and maintain food safety and hygiene standards, adhering to relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and effective food production, minimizing waste and optimizing resources.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, quality, and efficiency.
