About the Role

Arcus FM is seeking a skilled Depot Maintenance Engineer to join our facilities management team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering an effective and quality maintenance service across our Distribution Centre Campus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver planned and reactive maintenance services to ensure the site is statutorily compliant and accurate records are kept up to date.
  • Maintain a high standard of work by following safe working practices and adhering to industry standards.
  • Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in a compliant manner and in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • 18th edition certification.
  • A recognised apprenticeship or qualification in mechanical and electrical services, or significant proven experience in a maintenance role.
  • Full valid UK driver's license.
  • Strong communication skills and a strong work ethic.
  • Awareness and knowledge of health & safety.
  • Technical knowledge and experience of maintenance and repair of complex working environments, including electrical and mechanical equipment.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Distribution centre maintenance experience.

Working Conditions

  • 40 hours per week, generally Monday to Friday.
  • Some weekend work may be required on an ad-hoc basis.
  • 1 in 3 weeks on call (minimum).
  • Flexibility required to travel to other Depots to provide on call support, cover for absence or where work requirements are dictated.
