Position Overview
EKFB is honored to have been selected for a significant civil engineering project, focusing on the development of a high-speed rail corridor.

We are looking for a Construction Site Supervisor with a strong background in earthmoving operations to join our team in the Greatworth region.

Key Responsibilities
As a Construction Site Supervisor, your role will encompass:

  • Assisting in the formulation of construction strategies, which includes organizing initial meetings and preparing essential documentation such as Method Statements, Environmental and Quality Plans, and Construction schedules.
  • Collaborating with the Sub Supervisor and Section Foreman to effectively allocate labor, machinery, materials, and temporary structures to meet project standards, timelines, and budget constraints.
  • Overseeing the site engineering team, ensuring the performance and growth of site and Section Engineers.
  • Coordinating construction activities to ensure compliance with contract specifications and maintaining high standards of safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ).
  • Contributing to the development of project timelines, progress reports, resource allocation, and financial forecasting, as well as conducting site measurements and material reconciliations.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A HNC/Degree in Construction or Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • A valid CSCS card (one of the following: Black, White, White/Yellow, Yellow, or Red Experienced).
  • Mandatory SMSTS certification.
  • Proven knowledge and practical experience in Site Engineering activities, coupled with strong construction supervision capabilities.
  • Extensive experience in earthmoving operations.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Additional Requirements
Applicants must hold a valid driving license and have access to a vehicle.
