Site Operations Manager

At Randstad Construction & Property, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Engineer to join our team. As a Site Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Site Operations: Oversee the day-to-day engineering operations on site, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, HS2 standards, and contractual requirements.
- Setting Out and Surveying: Provide accurate setting out and surveying using the latest technology.
- Quality Management: Manage and monitor the quality of work on site to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with construction managers, project engineers, and subcontractors to coordinate work and resolve technical challenges.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain detailed site records, including daily diaries, method statements, and risk assessments.
- Design and Planning: Liaise with the design and planning teams to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation of drawings and specifications.
- Continuous Improvement: Support in the implementation of value engineering and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Education: Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Relevant experience working as a Site Engineer on large-scale infrastructure or rail projects.
- Skills and Knowledge: Strong knowledge of setting out, surveying, and construction methodologies. Familiarity with modern construction technology and equipment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Certifications and Qualifications: Proficient in CAD software, GPS, and other engineering tools. Valid CSCS card (essential). Understanding of health and safety regulations, with a commitment to safe working practices.
