Senior Nursing Care Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Senior Nursing Care Assistant to join our team at Ty Coch Nursing Home in Cardiff. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced care professional to take on a senior role within our nursing home. You will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our residents, working closely with our nursing and managerial team to ensure the smooth running of the home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care to residents, including medication administration, observations, and clinical tasks
  • Develop, review, and update individualized care plans to meet residents' changing needs
  • Supervise and train care staff to ensure high standards of care are maintained
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Experience working in a care setting, preferably with older adultsAbility to show empathy and understanding in a care environmentWell-developed time management skills and ability to work under pressureAbility to make balanced decisions and take a proactive approach to consulting and involving othersWhat We Offer
