Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Care Team Lead to join our team at Bupa. As a Senior Care Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of Care Assistants and supporting the Nurse in delivering high-quality, person-centered care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Care Assistants, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent care delivery.
  • Support the Nurse in clinical duties, including observing, issuing medication, reviewing care plans, and accurate record keeping.
  • Drive and manage a team of Care Assistants, responsible for all shift handovers and ensuring seamless care delivery.
  • Help with training and supervision of new staff members, ensuring they feel welcomed and supported.
  • Build relationships with residents, their families, and external teams, such as GPs and District Nurses.
  • Assist residents with a range of personal care duties, ensuring their dignity and well-being are maintained.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant or equivalent role.
  • Completed or working towards an NVQ3 in care.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Passion for making a real difference to people's lives and delivering high-quality care.
