We are seeking an exceptional leader to head our Engineering, Manufacturing, and Construction department. As Head of Engineering and Manufacturing, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality curricula in engineering, welding, manufacturing, and professional construction.
You will lead a team of staff in creating forward-looking curricula that address the demand for change in the sector, driven by net zero targets, new technologies, and regional skills shortages. You will maintain and build upon existing stakeholder relationships with key employers, enhance the learner experience, and promote positive progression and destination.
The centre boasts state-of-the-art practical resources, including 10 workshops across three campuses, all meeting or exceeding industry standards.
About YouYou will hold a degree or relevant qualification at Level 4 and a teaching qualification of a minimum of Level 5. You will have knowledge and experience of current practices and innovations in the sector and in Further Education. You will have evidence of effective team management, demonstrating improvements in quality and success indicators to achieve excellence.
