Key Responsibilities

The Patient Admissions Coordinator will be tasked with organizing inpatient and day case theatre schedules for a team of 12 Colorectal Consultants. This includes:

  • Coordinating with clinical teams to identify suitable patients.
  • Contacting patients to confirm their scheduled dates.
  • Utilizing various software tools to maintain accurate information for the broader team.
  • Engaging in regular communication with patients and clinical staff.
  • Participating in scheduling meetings and providing updates to management regarding waiting list times and targets.
