About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Assistant to join our team at Riverside. As a Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to our customers, helping them to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support and guidance to customers, helping them to develop life skills and achieve their goals.
  • Assist customers with day-to-day tasks, including managing their finances and accessing external support services.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to deliver a range of support services, including housing management and income collection.
  • Contribute to the delivery of a housing management service, including reporting any repairs or health and safety concerns.
  • Resolve difficult and challenging situations in a sensitive and informed way, balancing the needs of the individual with the safety of the service.
Requirements
  • Experience of working with vulnerable client groups.
  • Experience of delivering structured support in either housing or social care.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, as well as a willingness to learn specific IT systems used within Care and Support.
