Employer Engagement Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Employer Engagement Manager to join our team at Maximus UK. As a key member of our employer engagement team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality vacancies to our participants and building strong relationships with employers across West Yorkshire.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement regional sector plans aligned with our national employer engagement strategy
  • Source and share market insight and feedback from key employer partners to inform our plans and support labour market intelligence
  • Identify, engage, and manage key employer relationships within sectors and regions to become the preferred recruitment partner
  • Develop and manage employment opportunity pipelines, including guaranteed vacancies, work experience placements, and job fairs
  • Coordinate recruitment activity to meet employer needs and provide expert advice and guidance on workforce planning and training needs analysis
  • Co-design employment routeways to address current and future recruitment needs and facilitate employer support through sector insight sessions and assessment centres
  • Support the Head of Employer Engagement and Director of Employer Engagement with key account management of strategic and national partners
  • Work with the Strategic Engagement Manager to engage and support regional partner organisations and develop programmes, including secondments where applicable
  • Contribute to the development of best practice and efficient ways of working and source and share market insight and feedback to support the labour market intelligence analyst role
  • Act as an ambassador for customers requiring extra support, identifying and agreeing workplace adjustments, and working closely with internal colleagues to ensure customers meet employer expectations and are prepared for transition into work
  • Understand site caseload job requirements and align employment and candidate pipelines, including forecasting future opportunities, and share market knowledge and intelligence to identify and address potential barriers to work

This role requires a strong understanding of labour markets and recruitment trends, as well as excellent communication and influencing skills. You will be a team player with a positive and flexible approach to work and colleagues. Previous experience in employability or a related service industry is desirable, and a driver with access to their own vehicle is required.
