About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Specialist Practitioner to join our Community Mental Health Team. As a Band 6 Specialist Recovery Practitioner, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care to individuals with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with service users, carers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychosocial interventions, and family interventions, to support service users in achieving their recovery goals.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions between services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users, carers, and other stakeholders to promote person-centered care and support.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care and service delivery.
  • Participate in clinical supervision, peer review, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance practice and service delivery.
Requirements
  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a mental health nurse or allied health professional.
  • Degree-level qualification in a relevant health profession.
  • Proven experience in delivering mental health services, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
