Job Summary:
Logistics People is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, investigating discrepancies, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete regular inventory cycles and record results
- Investigate discrepancies with confidence and report back to the management team and customers
- Utilize strong communication and IT skills, including Microsoft Excel
- Perform physical inventory checks and reconcile goods inbound reports
- Create and distribute inventory reports to internal and external customers
- Process stock queries within agreed timeframes and provide customer care
- Investigate discrepancies and process dispute procedures
- Process returns and inter-depot cross documents
- Pursue stock rejections and returns throughout the network
- Process system transactions to correct stock balances
- Maintain accurate transactions in outside warehouse databases
- Investigate outstanding, incoming, outside, and missing pallets
- Record and escalate internal and external non-conformances
- Support colleagues throughout the network
